Join the Neural Network Compression Tools Team within Intel's OpenVINO organization and gain hands-on experience developing technologies used to optimize state-of-the-art AI models.
What You'll Do
As an AI & Deep Learning Intern, you will contribute to the development of the Neural Network Compression Framework (NNCF), a key technology used to improve the performance and efficiency of deep learning models.
During Your Internship, You Will
- Explore and evaluate state-of-the-art machine learning and neural network optimization techniques
- Contribute to the development of compression algorithms that improve AI inference performance
- Work with modern deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and OpenVINO
- Collaborate with experienced AI engineers and researchers
- Learn about the latest neural network architectures and industry-leading AI technologies
- Gain exposure to Intel hardware platforms and AI software ecosystems

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in: Computer ScienceMathematicsPhysicsSoftware Engineering or a related field
- Undergraduate student in the 3rd year or above
- Programming experience in Python
- Availability to work at least 20 hours per week
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Machine Learning or Deep Learning concepts
- Understanding of Computer Vision or Image Processing
- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or OpenVINO
- Curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and eagerness to learn

The minimum Annual Salary for this job which could be performed in Germany is: 11 870,00 € The job posting reflects the minimum base compensation for this role. Our standard internship rates are aligned with the specific job role and degree level. As part of our total compensation approach, the final offer may also include additional pay components and benefits. Your recruiting team will provide the confirmed base salary along with any applicable total compensation elements upon employment offer delivery.
