Description provided by ImmoSteuer365

ImmoSteuer365 is building an AI-driven fintech product for real estate investment decision support in Germany. The product helps private investors understand the long-term tax, financing, renovation and cash-flow impact of their real estate decisions before they commit capital.

Tasks

We are looking for 1–2 motivated Python Backend Interns to support our backend development. The role focuses on Python backend development, relational databases and REST APIs. Typical tasks include designing database tables, building API endpoints, connecting frontend data flows with backend logic, and supporting modules such as user profiles, property data, document metadata, simulation results and report generation.

This internship is suitable for students who want hands-on experience in a real early-stage startup and want to build a concrete technical project for their CV or portfolio. You will work closely with the technical lead and founder, receive clear technical tasks, and contribute to product modules that are directly connected to real user needs.

Requirements

Basic Python knowledge, basic SQL knowledge, and willingness to learn backend development in a real product environment. Experience with FastAPI, Flask, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Git or REST APIs is a plus.

Benefits

Hands-on backend experience in a real fintech/AI product, direct mentoring, code review, startup product exposure, clear ownership of small technical modules, internship certificate, and a reference letter or LinkedIn recommendation based on contribution.

Time commitment:

This is a part-time and flexible internship, ideally around 15–20 hours per week. You will have room to learn, ask questions, take ownership of small modules, and grow with the product step by step.

If you are looking for an internship where your work does not disappear into a large system, but directly shapes a real AI fintech product from an early stage, we would love to hear from you.
