Intern - Vehicle Dynamics Controls (m/f/d)

We are seeking a skilled candidate in Vehicle Dynamics for vehicle stability, handling, and performance for human and Autonomous Driving Solution (ADS) features.

The ideal candidate will have deep understanding and interest in modeling of vehicle dynamics control strategies especially for highly automated vehicles, including stability and safety control based on x-by-wire system. Your role in a multidisciplinary team requires collaboration with our global research and development community. Your will be working on future trends of technologies, architectures, requirements in Intelligent Vehicle Dynamics.

Your mission

• Develop control algorithms for vehicle dynamics systems, (e.g. stability control, steer-by-wire control, brake and traction control)
• Validate advanced control strategies using Model Predictive Control (MPC), PID controllers, or adaptive and robust control techniques
  
  

Your areas of expertise

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree or higher in Automotive Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field, with a focus on vehicle dynamics or control systems
• Experience in developing control systems for vehicle dynamics or related automotive systems
• Deep understanding of vehicle dynamics principles, kinematics, and control theory
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink/Octave/C/C++/or related tools for modeling and simulation
• Enthusiastic to work as part of our international team
• Fluent communication skills in English
