As a Working Student in our Public Sector team, you’ll actively contribute to projects at the intersection of climate and energy policy, energy markets, and international cooperation. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in consulting while supporting impactful work in the fields of sustainability and energy transition. You’ll collaborate with experienced consultants on complex challenges, develop your analytical skills, and help deliver high-quality, client-ready outputs.

What You Will Do

  • Support public sector projects on topics such as climate and energy policy, industrial decarbonization, energy efficiency, bioeconomy, and sustainable and just transformations
  • Conduct research and synthesize data into clear, actionable insights for reports and presentations
  • Assist in preparing project outlines, evaluations, short studies, meetings and events, and client deliverables
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders and contribute to communication efforts across project teams

What You Will Need

  • Fluency in English and German, other languages is a plus
  • Enrollment in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s program (e.g., Public Policy, Energy Systems, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Political or Social Sciences, or similar)
  • Strong interest in energy and climate topics, with a proactive and curious mindset
  • Availability for at least one year
  • Prior knowledge in relevant topics such as energy economics, climate policy, bioeconomy, or just transition
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively in diverse teams
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and align with project goals and client expectations

Versicherung prüfen

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
