What you can expect:
In this newly established support role, you will become an operational anchor for our global Category Management team, focusing on the rapidly growing utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) sector. Working alongside our Category Managers and Solutions Engineers, you will ensure our supplier data is accurate, our sourcing workflows are tracked, and our internal tools are continuously optimized. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to gain deep insights into global renewable energy supply chains and Tier-1 battery technologies while maintaining a flexible schedule that fits your university studies.
Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update our central supplier intelligence database, including technical datasheets, commercial offers, and portfolio updates from leading global BESS suppliers.
- Track active RFQ and tender processes, monitor supplier deadlines, and conduct routine follow-ups.
- Assist the department by creating, optimizing, and maintaining user-friendly Excel tools and templates based on team requirements to streamline our evaluation processes.
- Provide administrative and analytical support during technical tenders by organizing incoming documentation and creating clear, structured overviews for the team.
Profile:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Procurement, or a comparable field of study with a strong technical affinity.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills, with the ability to create structured spreadsheets and complex formulas.
- A highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset with the ability to manage recurring tracking tasks independently.
- Confident communication skills to coordinate administrative follow-ups with internal teams and international suppliers.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.
