Die Europäische Klimaschutzinitiative (EUKI) ist ein Förderprogramm des Bundesministeriums für Umwelt, Klimaschutz, Naturschutz und nukleare Sicherheit (BMUKN) und wird von der GIZ umgesetzt. Übergeordnetes Ziel der EUKI ist die Förderung der grenzüberschreitenden Zusammenarbeit innerhalb der Europäischen Union (EU) zur Senkung von Treibhausgasemissionen. Sie unterstützt u.a. NROs, Think Tanks und Kommunen bei der Umsetzung von Ideen, um den Klimaschutz in Europa zu beschleunigen. Der geografische Schwerpunkt liegt in der Zusammenarbeit mit Mittel-, Ost- und Südeuropa und dem Westbalkan.
