The Optopphysiology Lab at BrainLinks-BrainTools at University of Freiburg is looking for a technically skilled person to support the construction and development of behavioral setups for our neuroscience experiments.
Your tasks
- Support the construction and assembly of behavioral setups.
- Work on hardware integration and machine control.
- Implement Arduino-based control of electrical circuits and experimental components.
- Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing the setups.
Your profile
- Background in engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Practical skills in electronics, hardware integration, and electrical circuit control.
- Experience with Arduino or similar microcontroller platforms.
- Software development skills (e.g., C/C++ or Python) are a plus, but not required.
Position details
- Initial duration: 2 months
- Workload: approximately 40 hours per month
- Potential for extension, depending on project needs and mutual agreement.
