What You'll Do
We are looking for a strong candidate to join our BCG Transform Practice Area Marketing team in supporting important areas of the marketing program of the Practice, and the Regional Practice Area Senior Manager across business activation and people-related topics.
As a working student you can work up to 20 hours/week during your semesters and up to 40 hours/week during your vacation time. The role offers enough flexibility to combine personal, academic and professional life. This is a temporary role from min. 12 – max. 24 months. You need to be an enrolled university student in Germany.
You’re good at
- Social media marketing
- Planning, operating and optimizing social media campaigns
- Supporting and optimizing corporate and personal LinkedIn pages
- Building social media advocacy initiatives
- Building visually appealing social media content
- Familiar with content development tools and social media planning, tracking and analytical tools
- Knowledgeable and passionate in latest social media trends to test and leverage emerging innovations and new formats
E-mail marketing
- Understanding common e-mail marketing concepts
- Planning and coordinating e-mail marketing campaigns and newsletters
Internal communication
- Writing, designing and deploying internal newsletters, using e-mail marketing tools
Performance tracking, analysis and reporting
- Understanding and analyzing marketing performance
- Tracking business performance and client work to ensure accurate reporting
- Focusing on “what is really important”, to inform optimization
- Communicating the insights effectively and in an actionable manner
Communication Skills
- Effective in verbal and written communication
- Slide writing
Fast learner
- Good at understanding of written text and at distilling most important messages for social media amplification
- Familiar and/or eager to learn about the latest business topics top of mind of today`s business leaders
Working in a dynamic environment
- Familiar with matrix organizations
- Good at building your network with other working students, coops and BCGers
- Balance short and long term priorities
What You'll Bring
- Ongoing Bachelor’s or Master’s studies with high academic achievements preferably in business studies with marketing focus
- Ability to work in a structured way, attention to detail
- Interest in and willingness to develop solid understanding of the subject area
- Creative, yet structured problem solver and autonomous self-starter
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple tasks in parallel
- Strong organization skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus
- Strong interpersonal credibility, reliability, and service mentality
- Highest ethical standards, able to maintain discretion and confidentiality

- With the BCG Transform Management Team, Leadership and broader network of affiliates
- The broader BCG Marketing & Communications Teams, such as the BCG Global Marketing team, other Practice Area Marketing teams and local BCG marketing teams
- Report to the BCG Transform Marketing Director

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
