What You'll Do

We are seeking a strong candidate to join BCG Transform’s Vantage team in Düsseldorf. You will have the chance to work closely with our analysts and experts on a day-to-day basis on a variety of strategic topics for international assignments and take responsibility for driving your own ideas.

You can work up to 20 hours/week during your semesters and up to 40 hours/week during your vacation time. The role offers enough flexibility to combine personal, academic and professional life. This is a temporary role from min. 12 to max. 24 months. You need to be an enrolled university student in Germany.

You Will Be

  • Building and updating new topic/sector-related customized knowledge products
  • Performing research tasks – from financial and deal databases to company research
  • Supporting the analysts with financial analysis and financial modelling tasks
  • Helping to build, enhance and maintain our database and benchmarking models (e.g. Global Transform Radar) in Excel, Alteryx and Tableau
  • Supporting the business development efforts, innovation fund projects, and case requests
  • Contributing to content development for internal meetings and trainings

What You'll Bring

  • Ongoing bachelor's or master's studies with high academic achievements – preferably in business, economics, engineering, informatics or computer science
  • Interest to develop skills and knowledge in business transformation related topics
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, experience with analytical tools (Alteryx, Tableau, etc.) is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus
  • Solid analytical skills with strong attention to detail and high learning agility
  • Creative, yet structured problem solver who is capable to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple tasks in parallel
  • Strong interpersonal credibility, reliability, and service mentality

Who You'll Work With

You will work closely with the BCG Transform community worldwide. Occasionally, you may also work with other BCG entities on global, regional and local level as needed.
