Introduction
Are you passionate about electronics and PCB design? Join our development team in Kassel and support us in maintaining and expanding our electronic component library in Altium Designer. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with professional EDA tools in a fast-paced tech environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update schematic symbols and PCB footprints in Altium Designer
- Create new components according to design standards
- Ensure consistency, quality, and documentation of library entries
- Collaborate with engineers to validate and test components
- Assist in streamlining the library structure for ease of use and scalability
- Enrolled in a technical field of study (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering)
- Basic knowledge of electronics and PCB design principles
- Ability to read and understand component datasheets
- Familiarity with Altium Designer or other EDA tools (training can be provided)
- Experience in technical / mechanical drawing
- Experience with 3D design tools (e.g., FreeCad, Fusion 360, SolidWorks) is a plus
- Structured and detail-oriented working style
- Proactive communication and willingness to learn
- English skills at B2 level or higher (written and spoken); German is a plus
- Startup atmosphere with diverse tasks and high learning potential
- Flexible working hours (approx. 10-20 hours/week)
