Cerepal.ai is a Berlin deeptech and defence-technology startup building autonomous robotic swarms for the harshest environments. Its systems are designed to work where conventional robotics fails, with no prepared roads, no markers or QR codes and no network connectivity to rely on. The engineering work centres on physical intelligence. The robot learning team trains reinforcement learning agents, builds world models that let the robots predict and navigate their surroundings, and ports locomotion and manipulation policies from simulation onto real hardware. The company states that its primary focus is supporting Ukraine and European security through advanced autonomous systems. Cerepal.ai GmbH was founded in 2025 and is registered in Berlin (HRB 274582 B, Amtsgericht Charlottenburg), at Bouchestrasse 12 in Berlin-Treptow. The team is early stage and works hands-on with robot prototypes on site.
