Volkswagen Infotainment GmbH develops tomorrow's mobility solutions as a component of the Volkswagen Group, under the CARIAD-umbrella. It was founded in August 2014 after the aqcuisition of BlackBerry's European R&D site in Bochum. The company's main site is located at Grete-Schickedanz-Straße in Bochum. It also maintains another site in Wolfsburg. The majority of our employees are software developers and engineers and we work with our company languages German and English. Effective December 2024 we boast more than 1200 employees from more than 50 different nations. Our slogan "Better Connected" reflects our specialist knowledge for connectivity of the next generation cars of the Volkswagen Group. We supply the various brands of the Volkswagen Group with our mobility solutions.
