Job Description:
Intern position in the field of ESD (ElectroStatic Discharge) characterization.
The intern will join our ESD team at Intel to work in our Munich laboratory to perform Transmission Line Pulse (TLP) testing of most advanced CMOS technology test chips.
As needed, simulations will be carried out to support the measurement data and to get a full understanding of the physical behavior of the structures.
The TLP system will also be used to exercise the capability of packaged ICs to handle system level ESD stress (SEED characterization), providing a guidance for system integration.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
Job Description:

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- MS or BS degree in EE or physics
- Basic understanding of ESD effects, protection design, and measurement techniques
- Fluency in English required
- Expertise in using simulation tools (SPICE, TCAD)
- Experimental skills for electrical measurements
