Your Role
- Sort and distribute incoming mail to various departments and individuals within the bank. Ensure timely processing of outgoing mail, adhering to postal regulations and bank policies.
- Receive, log, and distribute packages and deliveries to appropriate recipients. Exercise care in handling sensitive or confidential parcels.
- Maintain an organised and secure mailroom. Implement systems for tracking incoming and outgoing correspondence and deliveries.
- Record mail and package movement, ensuring traceability. Update mail handling logs and databases to reflect real-time information.
- Liaise with courier services for the dispatch and receipt of urgent deliveries.
- Provide support to various bank departments in dispatching and receiving important documents, ensuring they are handled with confidentiality and urgency.
- Operate and maintain mailroom equipment, such as postage machines, envelope openers, and scanning devices. Troubleshoot minor issues and coordinate with vendors for maintenance.
- Adhere to bank policies and postal regulations in all mail handling activities. Participate in the implementation of security protocols for the handling of sensitive information.
- Manage supplies inventory for the mailroom, including postage, packaging materials, and stationery.
- Compile and submit regular reports on mailroom operations, highlighting volumes, service issues, and suggestions for improvement.

- Currently enrolled as a student, related field of studies preferred.
- Previous work experience in mail handling, office administration or similar traineeships is a strong advantage.
- Good knowledge in English, German is a plus.
- High attention to detail.

- Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
