We are part of the PAX CTO team at SITA, working in an international Technology & Engineering environment with a strong focus on the airport and travel industry.

SITA is a leading global provider of IT and communication solutions for airports, airlines and travel, supporting the digital transformation of the air transport industry worldwide.

Our Dortmund team has a strong background: it comes from the former IPS organisation (part of Materna Group) and is now a key part of SITA’s global setup.

Today, we work together with colleagues across different countries on projects, tools and ideas that shape how SITA delivers passenger solutions worldwide.

About The Role

We are looking for a self-motivated and engaged Working Student to support our teams in a dynamic and international environment.

The role focuses on content management, project-related support and cross-team coordination, helping to bring more structure, transparency and clarity into ongoing initiatives.

You will also gain first insights into Project Management and PMO practices, supporting planning, communication and organisation of projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance and structuring of project and support-related content (e.g. SharePoint, documentation, knowledge bases)
  • Help improve transparency and findability of information across teams
  • Assist in preparing project overviews, presentations and status updates
  • Support coordination of project-related topics and ongoing initiatives
  • Contribute to process and content improvements
  • Support organisation of meetings, workshops and team initiatives
  • Provide general support on project and coordination topics

Qualifications

What You Will Learn

  • First insights into Project & Program Management (PMO) structures and governance
  • Exposure to international collaboration across teams and locations
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Copilot, Azure DevOps)
  • Practical experience in content and knowledge management in a global organisation
  • Understanding of how organisations manage projects, information and communication

Your Profile

  • Currently enrolled in Business, IT, Engineering, Information Management or a related field
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive and eager to learn
  • Strong interest in structuring information and supporting projects
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
