What You'll Do

• Real-time Pipeline Development: Assist in building and maintaining a voice framework that handles bidirectional, low-latency audio streams
• Systems Integration: Connect various specialized components (Speech-to-Text, LLM, and Text-to-Speech, Speech-to-Speech) into a cohesive, stateful voice-to-voice loop
• Latency & Performance Tuning: Implement and optimize features like Voice Activity Detection (VAD) and user interruption ("barge-in") logic to ensure a fluid human-like experience
• API & Protocol Management: Work with WebSockets, WebRTC, and asynchronous communication to bridge the frontend audio with our backend application
• Testing & Debugging: Use command-line tools and logging to troubleshoot audio artifacts, packet loss, and connection stability
  
  

What You Bring

• Academic Background: Student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• Python Mastery: Strong command of Asynchronous Programming (asyncio), handling multiple concurrent events
• Backend Knowledge: Experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and modern backend architectures
• Networking Basics: Understanding of data transport protocols and how to handle streaming data without high buffering
• Execution-Oriented: Ability to dive into technical documentation and implement SDKs/libraries to solve architecture challenges
  
  

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
