Working Student / Werkstudent (m/f/d) – Visual Communications / Graphic Design (Hybrid)

QUDORA Technologies is a quantum technology start-up from Lower Saxony (Germany) developing full-stack quantum computers based on ion trap technology. Quantum computers hold the promise of outperforming today’s supercomputers within the next decade and solve some of the world’s most challenging problems by unleashing the power of quantum mechanics.

QUDORA and its patented technology belong to the spearhead of the German quantum computing landscape. We have secured multiple projects and are currently developing a quantum computer prototype for the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) as part of the German Quantum Computing Initiative.

To support our growing team, we are looking for a Working Student / Werkstudent in Visual Communications who will support us in creating and maintaining visual assets for our communication and marketing activities.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and update of visual assets in line with our corporate design (presentations, one-pagers, flyers, brochures, banners)
  • Primarily work on presentation slides, social media visuals, and information-heavy layouts
  • Design graphics for LinkedIn and other digital communication channels
  • Support visual updates for the website
  • Create simple infographics and visual explanations of complex topics
  • Support the design of event materials (e.g. booth graphics, merchandise)
  • Help maintain and organize brand assets and templates

Your Compensation Package

  • Flexible working hours (12–16h/week) compatible with your studies
  • Flexible working setup: up to 80% remote, with the option to work from our office in Braunschweig at Salzdahlumerstr. 196, 38126
  • Gaining hands-on experience creating visual assets used across marketing, events, and business development
  • Opportunity to build a strong portfolio with real-world cases
  • Friendly, international team with flat hierarchies
  • Competitive hourly salary (based on experience) and public transport support (German Jobticket)
  • You will receive 30 days of vacation (based on a 5-day work week). Additionally, you will get the 24th and 31st of December off.

Your Profile

  • Currently enrolled as a student in Communication Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Media Design, or a related field
  • Good working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Strong sense for layout, typography, and visual clarity
  • Comfortable working with PowerPoint and basic web CMS tools (e.g. WordPress, Elementor)
  • Structured and reliable way of working
  • Fluent in English

Nice To Have

  • Experience creating infographics or explaining technical topics visually
  • Interest in deep tech or quantum technologies
