Your Role
As a Process Modeling Intern, you will work closely with our process development and scale-up teams to support both the introduction of new chemical products and the optimization of existing high-revenue production processes through advanced process modeling and simulations. Your everyday tasks will involve building and refining CFD simulation models, analyzing simulation outputs, and translating your findings into actionable insights that drive profitability and sustainability. With an emphasis on applying multiphase/heat transfer modeling, you will contribute critical support to our team’s efforts in bringing innovative chemical processes to market.
Who You Are
- You are currently enrolled at a university in a chemical engineering related field, actively building a strong foundation in modeling and simulation.
- Your academic background includes exposure to CFD software, making you well-prepared to engage with computational models and simulations.
- Your experience in multiphase and/or heat transfer modeling is an advantage, further equipping you to tackle challenges in process optimization.
- You are fluent in English, with strong communication abilities that allow you to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and articulate complex technical insights.
- Beyond technical competencies, you are curious, proactive, and self-organized, with a result-driven mindset and the ability to work both independently and in diverse team settings.

Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
Werkstudenten-RegelnSozialabgaben
Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
