Tasks
You will support the Lufthansa Group Security Desk team - the 24/7 operational unit of Corporate Security Management within the Lufthansa Group - in:
- Managing and implementing current projects, as well as continuously developing and improving internal processes
- Internal stakeholder and quality management for Lufthansa Group airlines and business units
- Identification, analysis, and assessment of security-related risks, as well as the associated communication and documentation
- Active situation management in crisis situations and irregularities
- Support for the follow-up of actual security incidents
- Research activities on current security-related topics
- Preparing presentations and project-related documents for the visual presentation of information and decision-making materials for management
- Preparing, conducting, and documenting crisis drills and workshops, and organizing events
- Maintaining and updating contact lists, alert plans, and emergency manuals

- At the time of the internship, you must be in at least your third semester of a degree program
- You must be enrolled for the entire duration of the internship (a current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of mandatory internship must be included with the application) or the internship must take place between your bachelor’s and master’s programs (gap year)
- Good communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work in a team
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
- Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and tasks
- Interest in familiarizing yourself with unfamiliar areas of responsibility
- Interest in aviation and aviation security, as well as in current geopolitical developments
- Very good German and English skills (written and spoken)
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
