About The Role

The Client Events Working Student (m/w/d) (20 hours per week) is an integral part of Latham’s Events, Sponsorships, & Travel team. This role will be responsible for supporting with the planning and implementation of client events and will be involved in events from the initial idea through to successful execution. This role will be located in our Munich office. Please note that this role requires in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the planning, organization, and execution of events, seminars, and conferences – including on site support
  • Co-developing new event formats with us, thinking about innovative concepts, contributing fresh ideas for branding materials, and researching new venues
  • Creating targeted invitation lists in collaboration with stakeholders and the E Marketing team, coordinating RSVPs, and maintaining all relevant event data and KPIs
  • Working with our invitation tool Cvent, including creating and sending invitations, building event websites and apps, and managing all aspects of attendee organization (e.g., briefings, run of show schedules)
  • Supporting budget management, including processing event related invoices and monitoring expenses against the budget
  • Assisting with the creation and quality control of materials such as name badges, programs, and branded assets


What you bring:

  • Enjoyment of client interaction and a service‑oriented mindset

  • A hands‑on attitude and strong team spirit
  • Confident handling of confidential information
  • Enrolment at a university or university of applied sciences
  • Scheduling flexibility (15–20 hours per week, especially during event periods)
  • Very good German and English skills (spoken and written)
