What We Are Building
At ecoplanet, we're building the operating system for the energy transition. Our AI-powered platform turns energy management from a cost center into a competitive advantage for European manufacturers – saving energy costs and unlocking operational efficiency. Backed by EQT Ventures, HV Capital and more and built by a team full of top-tier talent.
Why This Role Matters
We're hiring an intern to sit at the intersection of AI, automation, and our entire commercial org. You won't be locked into one function. Instead, you'll plug into whichever team needs operational firepower that week - Marketing one day, SDRs the next, Customer Success the one after.
This is not a classic marketing or sales internship. It's a builder role for someone who likes wiring up workflows, prompting LLMs into doing useful work, and shipping automations that take real work off people's plates.
You'll work closely with our GTM Engineering function and report into the Commercial leadership team. You'll get exposure across the full commercial stack - from top-of-funnel ads attribution to post-sale health scoring.

What You’ll Achieve
Concrete examples of work waiting for you:
- Prototype AI-powered tools for the commercial team - e.g. briefing generators for our design agency, AI-driven SDR call coaching, automated pipeline health monitoring, lead scoring agents.
- Build and maintain HubSpot workflows, Clay tables, n8n automations across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Own automations within Customer Success: alerts, ticketing workflows and helpful agents.
- Help our Marketing team operationalize their multichannel outreach engine across LinkedIn, email, and paid retargeting.
- Be THE cross-functional firepower. Set up required analyses, build ad-hoc reports, support at customer events, etc. You will be the one person, the commercial team will ask to jump in where help is needed.
- You're a student (Bachelor/Master, any field. We care more about how you think than what you study) doing a mandatory internship, gap year, or voluntary practical phase.
- You're automation-obsessed. You've built things in Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar - or you're itching to. Bonus if you've prompted your way through real workflows with LLMs (GPT, Claude, etc.).
- You're able to quickly switch between tasks and execute them successfully. One day you're prototyping an AI workflow, the next you're preparing a customer event. Both are real parts of this job, and you treat them with the same energy.
- You want to grind. We work hard, we ship a lot. You don't see that as a bug, you see it as the point. You're here to learn fast and build a lot.
- You communicate clearly in English (working language is English/German mixed - German is a plus, not a requirement).
- You're comfortable with ambiguity, you ask sharp questions, and you don't wait to be told what to do next.
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot (workflows, properties, reports).
- Experience with Clay, n8n, Make, or Zapier - bonus if you've built something non-trivial.
- Strong LLM prompting skills and curiosity about AI agents / agentic workflows.
- Previous startup experience, ideally in a fast-moving commercial environment.
- Breadth. You'll touch every commercial function. Most internships keep you in one corner.
- Real ownership. You'll ship workflows that the whole commercial team uses, not slide decks that get filed away.
- Learning curve. You'll how a modern GTM motion actually works and how to leverage AI within it - at the speed of a Series A startup.
- Path forward. If you're great, we'll talk about what comes next.
- Duration: Minimum 3 months. Longer is better
- Hours: Full-time (40h/week)
- Location: Berlin or Munich office. Hybrid possible after onboarding
- Start: ASAP
- Working language: English / German mixed
