Beschreibung bereitgestellt von Digital Data Communications Global
We are looking for a working student in graphic design (m/f/d) to support our marketing team in Dortmund. Up to 20 hours per week during the semester, flexible working hours around your studies, and real responsibility from day one.
About us
Digital Data Communications GmbH is based in Dortmund and works in the consumer electronics sector. Our marketing team produces a steady flow of digital assets — banners, product visuals, ads — for various channels and markets. The volume is growing, and we need a reliable person to join the team.
Your tasks
- Designing banners and digital ads for various platforms and formats
- Adapting banners to different sizes and formats
- Product visualization — presenting products in a clean and appealing way
- General graphic design support for the marketing team
- Working with our existing brand guidelines and templates
What we are looking for
- 1–2 years of design experience; internships, freelance work, or university projects count
- A portfolio that shows clean layout, good composition, and attention to detail, such as spacing, margins, and image placement
- Solid Adobe Creative Suite skills, especially Photoshop and Illustrator; Figma is a plus
- Reliable communication: you let us know early if something takes longer, and you ask questions if a briefing is unclear
- Currently enrolled at a German university or higher education institution
- German and English, spoken and written
Nice to have
- An eye for product photography and appealing composition
- Initiative — we appreciate it when you suggest improvements or flag problems
What we offer
- Direct collaboration with our marketing team on site in Dortmund
- Flexible working hours around your studies
- Up to 20 hours per week during the semester, up to 40 hours per week during semester breaks
- Fair pay above minimum wage, depending on experience
- Clear briefings, direct feedback, and a friendly team
- Real responsibility from the beginning — your work goes live, and you will see the impact
How to apply
Send us your CV and portfolio, either as a link or PDF. We would especially like to see 3–5 of your best banner or layout pieces. Quality matters more than quantity. A short note about what you are studying and when you would be available would also be helpful.
Apply here or by email: [email protected]
