EIC Intern - Valuation & Advisory - Hospitality
Job Description Summary
You will become part of Cushman & Wakefield's Valuation & Advisory department, supporting the hotel team in various areas of the hotel real estate industry.
Your role will involve assisting with hotel valuations, market analyses, and consultancy assignments, including feasibility studies and valuation reports. You will contribute to database management and support the preparation of market studies, while gaining valuable experience under the guidance of experienced valuers and consultants.

This internship will start in August/September 2026 and last for a minimum of 6 months.
Main tasks
As a member of the team, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting market and location analyses.
- Assisting in the valuation of real estate portfolios and individual properties using national and international valuation methods and standards for domestic and international clients.
- Supporting analyses of lease and operator agreements as well as profitability calculations.
- Contributing to the organization and execution of property inspections across Germany and preparing subsequent reports.
- Supporting in the creation of valuation reports for hotels or hotel portfolios for national and international clients in both German and English.
- Regular communication with team members and cross-departmental colleagues.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Passion for the hospitality industry and interest in real estate.
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a degree in Geography, Tourism Management, Business Administration/Real Estate, or at a hotel management school.
- Initial professional experience in hospitality, consulting, valuation, or real estate is a plus.
- Solid understanding of the hospitality industry (market dynamics, major brands, hotel operating structures, hotel KPIs and P&L statements) is a plus.
- Comfortable working with numbers: you enjoy working with Excel and financial formulas don’t intimidate you.
- You’re also interested in research and analysing complex relationships.
- Enjoy working in international teams and with international clients.
- Good German and English language skills.
- Independent and structured working style.
- Strong communication skills and team spirit.
- Current and valid permit to work in Germany.

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
Werkstudenten-RegelnSozialabgaben
Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
