Founders’ Associate / Entrepreneur & Investor in Residence (Intern) (m/w/d)

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼

CITO combines venture investing, company building, and the creation of technology-driven businesses under one roof. We develop, validate, and scale new business models, support portfolio companies, and invest in selected startups, funds, and special opportunities, from idea to fundraising, growth, and exit. Current ventures include Plausity (AI-powered Due Diligence), CIVAC (AI Compliance Software), and several more AI and software businesses in the making. We are not looking for traditional interns. We are looking for ambitious builders who take ownership, learn fast, and contribute from day one.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲

You will work directly with experienced entrepreneurs and investors across our ecosystem, operating at the intersection of venture capital, company building, AI, and entrepreneurship. Depending on the project, expect deal sourcing and due diligence, investment memos, new venture creation, go-to-market, AI products, and 0-to-1 scaling, plus special projects with the founding and investment teams. This is not an assistant role. It is for ambitious generalists with an entrepreneurial mindset and a real desire to own things.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴

Student at a leading university with a strong track record and genuine interest in entrepreneurship, VC, PE, or AI. Sharp analytical skills, strong AI literacy, and daily hands-on use of modern LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, ideally Claude Code or Cursor). High ownership, curiosity, and excellent communication in English (German is a plus). Backgrounds in startups, VC/PE/IB, consulting, hackathons, or AI automation are a big plus.
