Real Estate Private Equity – Intern

Valor Real Estate Partners LLP (“Valor”) is a pan-European industrial platform, headquartered in London, focused on urban/infill industrial and logistics properties in the UK, France, Germany, Benelux, Spain and Italy.

Founded in 2016, Valor is a full-service development management and investment business with offices in London, Paris and Berlin. Today the Company manages an 100+ asset portfolio totalling approximately 1.4m sqm and c. €5.0bn of AUM on behalf of a number of global investors.

As an Intern, you will gain exposure to private equity real estate investing and advanced data engineering while collaborating with our dedicated research team.

Key Responsibilities

Investment

• Draft internal approval papers such as investment memoranda
• Build and maintain financial models to analyse investment opportunities
• Assist team members during due diligence process
• Conduct research on the logistics sector
• Maintain internal comparables database

Data Analysis

• Automate manual data processes across investment and asset management workflows to improve speed and scalability.
• Ensure data integrity across the investment lifecycle, from deal sourcing through asset management.
• Leverage AI to build mapping and geospatial tools (Geopandas, QGIS) that identify and score urban last-mile logistics assets by proximity to city centres, transport nodes and labour catchments.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree or pursuing degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related quantitative field
• Prior experience in data engineering or analytics (internships and academic projects count). Prior exposure to Real Estate is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI tools, in particular Claude Cowork
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — able to break down complex problems creatively
• Proficient in Python, MS Excel and PowerPoint; prior exposure to real estate or financial underwriting desirable
• Impeccable attention to detail with ability to manage multiple workstreams independently
• Fluent English required; German is a plus
