Our team at the BMW Group is dedicated to digital marketing across European markets. We develop and optimize paid media campaigns across diverse channels and work closely with local offices, agencies, and internal departments. In this internship, you will gain valuable insights into digital marketing strategies for premium automotive brands like BMW and MINI.

What awaits you?

  • You will support paid media campaigns across channels such as Social Media, Paid Search, and Programmatic Channels.
  • Furthermore, you help coordinate external partners like agencies and collaborate with internal stakeholders from local offices and departments.
  • In addition, you take on smaller projects in digital media, coordinating them with your team, agencies, and internal departments.
  • Moreover, you contribute to various reportings and analyses of digital media activities to derive optimizations and improve media efficiencies.
  • You will work in a diverse European team covering markets including Italy, Spain, UK, Nordics, and Poland.
  • Additionally, you gain insights into BMW and MINI products, innovations, and product launches.


What should you bring along?

  • Studies in business administration, marketing, or a comparable field.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Team spirit and ability to work with a high level of independence and flexibility.
  • Relevant work experience from other internships or professional training.
  • Knowledge of the marketing funnel, marketing channels, and analysis; experience with Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics is an advantage.
  • High affinity for analytics, data, and precision.
  • Fluent German (min. C1) and English skills.

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Marketing in Munich für dich bedeutet — Vergütungsregeln, Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Werkstudenten-Regeln

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Versicherung prüfen

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
