What To Expect From Us

  • Optical and mechanical implementation of novel optical concepts for glass processing with lasers
  • Validation of optical concepts and testing of newly developed optical systems
  • Development and analysis of new machining processes with regard to laser parameters and beam shaping concepts
  • Independent processing and evaluation of the processes
  • Collaboration in the advanced development team, material processing with state-of-the-art USP lasers

What You Bring

  • Studies in physics, optics, engineering or a comparable field of study
  • Laboratory experience with lasers/optics desired
  • First programming skills (Python/Matlab) appreciated
  • First experience in automation/control engineering is appreciated
  • Good Knowledge of MS Office
  • Very good language skills in English and German
  • Analytical and conceptual skills, structured and independent way of working
