Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated working student to support our engineering team in building the data pipelines and backend services behind our company intelligence platform and AI agents. You will get hands-on experience with a modern tech stack, real responsibility from day one, and close mentorship from experienced engineers.

What You Will Do

• Support the design and development of data pipelines and backend services for our company intelligence platform
• Help build and maintain integrations with data sources and APIs
• Write and test Python code for data processing, automation, and backend features
• Support experiments with AI and LLM-based agent workflows
• Help with data-quality checks, monitoring, and documentation
• Collaborate with experienced engineers and learn modern practices (Git, code review, CI/CD)

Your Profile

• Studies: Currently enrolled in a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Coding: First hands-on experience with Python (SQL is a plus)
• Interest: Strong interest in data engineering, backend development, and AI and LLMs
• Tools: Familiarity with Git. Curiosity about cloud (AWS) and data pipelines is a plus
• Way of working: Structured, reliable, and eager to learn
• Languages: Good English (German is a plus)
• Availability: Approx. 15 to 20 hours per week during the semester, on-site in Leipzig

Location

This is an on-site position at our Leipzig office in Germany. As the role requires regular on-site presence and we are not able to offer relocation support, we are primarily looking for candidates who already live in or around Leipzig. Applications from candidates who can work on-site in Leipzig from the start are especially welcome.
