We are looking for a motivated Working Student to join our End User Services team and support day-to-day IT operations across our global organization.
In this role, you will help ensure employees have the equipment, workplace tools, and support they need to work effectively. You will assist with hardware preparation, inventory management, onboarding activities, asset tracking, basic IT support, and administrative tasks while gaining hands-on experience in a modern cloud-first IT environment.
You will work closely with experienced IT professionals and gain exposure to technologies such as Google Workspace, Okta, Microsoft 365, Slack, Jira Service Management, Kandji, Intune, and other workplace platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, eager to learn, and interested in building a career in IT Operations or End User Services.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
Hardware & Asset Management
- Prepare laptops and other IT equipment for new employees
- Reinstall, wipe, and reconfigure macOS and Windows devices according to company standards
- Maintain accurate inventory and asset records
- Support hardware lifecycle processes, including receiving, shipping, storage, and disposal of equipment
- Assist with stock management and inventory audits
- Handle simple IT support requests and service desk tickets
- Assist employees with common hardware, software, and workplace technology issues
- Escalate more complex technical issues to the appropriate IT teams
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including equipment handover and collection
- Assist with workplace setup and meeting room technology checks
- Support documentation updates and knowledge base maintenance
- Assist with data entry, asset administration, and operational tracking activities
- Help maintain operational standards and processes across End User Services
- Support IT projects and operational initiatives as needed
- Contribute to keeping IT workspaces, storage areas, and equipment organized.
- Currently enrolled at a university or higher education institution
- Interest in IT Operations, End User Services, or workplace technology
- Basic understanding of Windows, macOS, and common workplace applications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks
- Structured and reliable way of working
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Service-oriented mindset and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a wider team
- English is required, as this role operates in an international working environment
- This role requires regular on-site presence (3 days per week) in our London office
