What You'll Do
We are seeking a working student (f/m/d) to support our learning platform taxonomy team in building and maintaining a metadata documentation platform.
If you have
- excellent verbal and written communication skills,
- knowledge and/or hands-on experience in massive data management and maintenance,
- technical aptitude, ready and willing to learn new systems,
- the flexibility and motivation to work in a hybrid team setup,
- an agile mindset with the desire to drive innovation daily,
Your Tasks Will Include
- Building and maintaining an in-house tool to manage a metadata documentation platform for learning.sap.com
- Using relation database-type tools to manage taxonomy tagging
- Extracting and consolidating data from multiple sources
- Analyzing and organizing large datasets in Excel
- Creating documentation for the in-house tool being developed
- Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences in Germany
- Study field(s) include but are not limited to: Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analyst, Education, Data Engineering or another related field
- Microsoft Office experience, with strong proficiency in Excel
- Willingness to learn and work within our team and related teams around the globe
- Language skills: Good-to-excellent proficiency in English (German is optional)
- Basic knowledge of data extraction and management
- Python or TypeScript skills are a plus but not required
- Vibe coding experience and interest in new AI tools is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Soft skills: Team player, excellent communication and organization skills, high interest in exploring technology to solve business problems, innovative mindset
The Product Management and Design Tooling Experience Team – as part of the SAP learning area – works closely together with the development team for the SAP Learning platform (learning.sap.com), enriching feature development with an end-to-end view of the learning experience across all formats.
Our team focuses on finding innovative solutions for backoffice development of the learning platform. We build tools and create experiences that simplify and enhance learning content tools for authors, platform developers, and more, using the SAP in-house Multi-Experience Platform (MXP) system, among others. We work to simplify and manage complex taxonomies for thousands of learning assets. At the core of all we do is innovation.
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
