Key Responsibilities

• Support the procurement team in the day-to-day purchasing of construction machinery components for the European region, such as engines, pumps, valves, filters, lubricants, batteries, tires and other related materials.
• Assist with researching and collecting information on potential European suppliers, including suppliers of attachments and customized components – as well as supplier development.
• Help to prepare purchase requests, quotations and purchase orders in line with SANY Group's procurement processes and compliance requirements.
• Assist in preparing documents and price comparisons for supplier negotiations and attend in supplier meetings.
• Support routine communication with suppliers (e.g. delivery dates, order confirmations, documents) under the guidance of experienced colleagues.
• Maintain procurement data in SAP HANA and Microsoft Office and help create simple reports and overviews, with training and support provided.
• Assist in improving and refining internal processes, standards, basic data and guidelines under guidance.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled (not yet graduated) in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or a related field, with enrolment continuing throughout the internship.
• First internships or coursework in procurement, logistics or supply chain are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel; SAP experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.
• Interest in construction machinery, industrial products and international supplier markets.
• Fluent German at C1/C2 level (written and spoken) and good English skills.
• International study or cross-cultural experience is a plus.
