We are looking for a intern Ökonomische Bildung to join our Business Services division starting at the earliest possible opportunity.
Your responsibilities
Education – You will support the PwC Foundation team in teaching economic content as part of our in-house program Wirtschafts.Forscher! (Economics Researchers) and our funding projects. You will also be involved in developing new projects at the intersection of economics and ethics.Support – You will conduct research, including on existing innovative approaches in the economic education landscape, prepare information for the foundation team, team management, or the board, and create presentations. You will also help with the preparation and follow-up of foundation board and executive board meetings.Project management – You will support us in implementing our programs and projects in the field of economic education and in collaborating with our program partners and relevant educational stakeholders.Event management – You will assist in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of events and support cooperation with internal and external service providers.Public relations – You will assist with communication. This includes sharing responsibility for our websites and social media channels, including the conceptual and textual creation of content.
Your profile
- You are studying cultural studies, humanities, education, social sciences, economics, or a comparable subject.
- You are interested in economics, sustainability, economic education, and fundamental ethical issues, and (ideally) already have some practical experience from internships, working student positions, or project work.
- You have good knowledge of MS Office and are willing to learn how to use our project management software.
- You have business fluent German and very good English skills.
- You would like to support us for a period of at least six months starting in February.

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende
Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Bildung in Düsseldorf für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.
Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
Werkstudenten-RegelnSozialabgaben
Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
