Who We Are

Our mission has started. We are starting our own battery cell production in Battery Valley in Salzgitter and ramping up our headquarters for global cell production. This includes Energy Storage Solutions (ESS) & non-automotive applications. The ESS organization takes care of the upstream storage value chain. Our responsibilities include research, pre-development of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of ESS components & storages.

Your Role And Key Responsibilities

This internship role will provide opportunities to work with the Energy Storage Solutions (ESS) Business Development team. Our responsibilities include inter alia the area of market intelligence to inform strategic positioning and portfolio development for our products and solutions.

• Analyze techno-regulatory topics / trends, e.g. cybersecurity, and derive implications for our existing and future BESS product portfolio
• Research key BESS supply chain topics for North America and Europe and define and evaluate potential scenarios
• Contribute as the interface of a variety of cross functional topics, e.g. sustainability and / or digital battery passport
• Contribute to the ongoing analysis and assessment of our target BESS markets
• Assist in any other ad-hoc analysis work in the ESS Business Development team
  
  

What You Bring To The Team

• Ongoing bachelor’s or master’s studies
• Analytical, structured and strategic thinking
• Interest & curiosity for the battery energy storage topic
• High level of personal initiative and intercultural competence
• Strong skills in creating presentations using MS PowerPoint
• Good knowledge in English
