Description provided by Phantasma Labs
At Phantasma Labs, we’re building AI-powered production scheduling software for manufacturers. Our platform AiPS helps production teams create optimized schedules in seconds and quickly adapt them when priorities, orders or available resources change. Instead of relying on large amounts of historical data, we train our AI in simulated factory environments using Digital Twins and reinforcement learning.
We work with manufacturers across Europe and the US, as well as ERP and MES partners bringing our technology into real production environments. A big part of our focus now is reaching more manufacturing companies, understanding their planning challenges and turning those conversations into new opportunities.
We’re a lean, international team, backed by experienced investors and working closely with industry partners and customers. In this role, you’ll work directly on growing our sales pipeline, learn how technical B2B sales works in practice and have the freedom to test different approaches to see what actually works.
Tasks
You’ll work closely with our founder and team on sales and business development, with a strong focus on outbound and lead generation:
- Research and identify potential customers in the manufacturing industry
- Reach out to prospects via email, LinkedIn and phone
- Qualify leads and help turn initial conversations into demos
- Test and improve outreach messaging and sales approaches based on what works
- Keep our CRM and sales pipeline organized and up to date
- Work closely with our founder on target accounts, outreach and new opportunities
You’ll get direct insights into how we acquire customers, test new sales approaches, and scale what works. It’s a hands-on role with lots of responsibility from day one. Your ideas will be heard, and implemented fast if they help us grow.
Requirements
You don’t need years of experience, but we’re looking for someone who has already had some practical exposure to sales or business development and genuinely enjoys talking to potential customers. Ideally, you are:
- Currently enrolled in a university program (Bachelor or Master)
- Someone with some hands-on experience in sales, business development or outbound, for example through an internship or working student role
- Comfortable reaching out to new people via email, LinkedIn and phone
- Confident communicating with different people and interested in understanding their businesses and challenges
- Curious and willing to test different approaches rather than just following a fixed script
- Fluent in German and English, with strong written and spoken communication skills
- Available either as a working student or for a full-time mandatory internship (ideally 3–6 months)
- Flexible to work later hours occasionally to connect with leads in the US
You’re someone who enjoys talking to people and understanding what matters to them. You like testing different approaches, learning what works and improving along the way. You’re not looking for a role where you just watch from the sidelines, but one where you can take responsibility, contribute and learn fast.
Benefits
- Learn what works in practice: get direct insights into B2B sales in an early-stage AI company
- Real responsibility from day 1: work directly on outreach and opportunities that can turn into real customers
- Direct collaboration with the founder and the tech team: understand our product, customer, and market from all angles
- A flexible, supportive, and open work environment: clear communication, fast feedback and learning by doing
- Flexible working hours & hybrid setup: work remotely or from our Co-working space in Berlin Mitte – whatever helps you do your best work
- A MacBook to support your tasks throughout the time with us
