In Germany, Neoen has been building up its presence since 2023. Our team is headquartered in Karlsruhe, with a second office in Hamburg. We currently have two projects under construction and a large pipeline of further projects in development. As a growing team, we offer you the chance to help shape our development from an early stage.
Our German Project Development Team is looking for interns and working students for the development of battery storage projects and in the future other technologies such as wind and solar, as well as data center developments.
The Main Tasks Include
- Identify new greenfield opportunities for battery storage projects ;
- Conduct site analysis with GIS and identify sites for new projects. Assess new project ideas ;
- Support the team with new planning applications and planning procedures ;
- Evaluate projects with financial models and prepare market studies ;
- You will receive a deep understanding of the storage market and the project development business as a valuable team member.

The candidate will need the following skills and experience to be successful on this position :
- Currently enrolled in a master’s program studying engineering, business administration, industrial engineering, energy and environmental technology, geography or any related field.
- Very good MS Office skills, ideally experience with GIS (ArqGIS, QGIS or other similar softwares).
- High motivation and reliability.
- Fluent in German and English
