Naxon Robotics deploys swarms of mobile robots, quadrupeds, wheeled robots and drones, for security and industrial inspection. The fleet patrols perimeters, detects anomalies and inspects assets as one coordinated system, covering more ground 24/7, delivering more value and reaching ROI faster than a single robot or a fleet of disconnected ones.

Why now: rising threats to critical infrastructure, too few people in security and industry, cheap and reliable hardware and fast moving AI agents. Hardware is ready. Deployment is not. Every new site is still a months-long expert project, so pilots rarely turn into rollouts. We make deployment repeatable, with swarms and an agentic platform that learns from each site.

Backed by EWOR, TUM VLABs and a robotics founder who built and exited a drone swarm company. Mentored by unicorn founders and Prof. Johannes Betz (autonomous driving and robotics, TUM).

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗘

You build and test the robots we deploy at customers, side by side with the founding team: from hardware and sensors to the algorithms that make them autonomous, SLAM, localisation, navigation and detection. What you design, wire and evaluate ends up at real customer sites.

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 𝗢𝗡

• Algorithm testing: run and benchmark SLAM, localisation, navigation and object detection on recorded and live robot data, and find where they break

• 3D design and printing of sensor mounts, payload brackets and housings

• Electronics: wiring, connectors, power and soldering for sensor integration

• Sensor testing: thermal, night vision, lidar, depth and RGB

• Robot evaluation: benchmark quadrupeds, wheeled robots and drones on runtime, speed, payload and price

You do not need to bring all of it. Curiosity and the willingness to learn fast count more than a complete checklist.

• BSc / MSc student in robotics, mechatronics, EE or CS

• 3D design (CAD) and electronics, hands-on

• Pragmatic, takes ownership and works things out independently

• Fluent English, German a plus

• Python, ROS2 basics, SLAM, navigation or computer vision from coursework or projects, data analysis.

• What you build goes to the field and ends up at customer sites

• Hands-on work with cutting-edge robotics, hardware and AI, directly with the founding team

• Paid internship with real robots at real customer sites

• A supportive and inclusive team that values ownership and creativity

• Option to convert into a full-time role

𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦

• Location: Munich or nearby. On-site with the team and the robots

• Duration: 6 to 12 months, full-time preferred

• Hours: 20 to 40 hours per week, paid

• Pay: 2000-3500 EUR per month

• Travel: customer sites in Germany, occasionally

• Language: fluent English required, German a plus
