Description provided by MONTREDO

Montredo GmbH · Berlin (on-site, hybrid flexibility) · 20 hrs/week · 6–12 months

Who We Are – Our Mission

Montredo is an international luxury watch company specializing in buying, selling, and sourcing exceptional timepieces. We work closely with leading watch brands and maintain a trusted network of authorized retailers and professional partners around the world, allowing us to offer one of the largest selections of luxury watches online.

Beyond trading watches, we share our passion and expertise through the Montredo Magazine, helping collectors and enthusiasts discover the stories, craftsmanship, and heritage behind the world's finest watch brands. Trust, transparency, and long-term relationships are at the heart of everything we do.

Most companies talk about "using AI." We want someone who actually builds the thing instead of just suggesting it. This role sits close to the CEO and across every team at Montredo, customer service, content, category management, logistics, looking for the places where AI can genuinely make the business faster, cheaper, or better, and then building it.

What you'll actually do

  • Look across the business for tasks that are slow, repetitive, or manual, and figure out where AI tools or agents could realistically take them over
  • Build and test the actual solution yourself, whether that's an automation, an AI agent, or a workflow using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or similar
  • Pilot small projects with the relevant team, see what holds up in daily use, and help roll out what works
  • Work directly with the CEO and team leads to prioritize what's worth tackling next

You are

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program
  • Already using AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT in a previous role or on your own, not just curious about them in theory
  • Able to set up agents, automations, or simple tools yourself, not only describe what you'd want someone else to build
  • Thinking operationally: your instinct is "what's slow here, and how could this run better," not just chasing whatever's trending in AI
  • Interested in e-commerce, and ideally in the watch or luxury space
  • Comfortable working closely with leadership and across teams rather than staying in just one

What you'll get out of it

  • Direct, regular contact with the CEO and visibility across the entire business, which is rare for a working-student role
  • Real ownership: if what you build works, it ships and gets used
  • Hybrid flexibility once you're settled in
  • A genuine front-row seat to how a premium e-commerce business adopts AI in practice, not in theory
