Founders Associate – Strategy & Operations (Internship)

We're building MIRA, the AI-powered platform for specialist eyecare.

Mirantus connects local screening locations with specialist ophthalmologists, making high-quality eyecare more accessible across Europe. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Founders Associate – Strategy & Operations (Internship) to work closely with our leadership team on the strategic and operational topics that matter most to the company.

This is not a traditional internship. You will take on real responsibility from day one, own workstreams independently, and work on some of the most important questions shaping Mirantus' next stage of growth.

What You'll Do

• Work directly with the leadership team on high-priority strategic and operational initiatives
• Own workstreams end-to-end, from structuring ambiguous problems to driving implementation
• Analyze new opportunities, markets, company performance, and strategic questions to support key decisions
• Drive cross-functional strategic projects across Product, Operations, Finance, and other teams
• Build and improve processes that help Mirantus operate faster and scale effectively
• Prepare analyses, decision materials, and recommendations for leadership discussions
• Step into new topics quickly and take responsibility wherever the company needs it most
• Turn decisions into action and ensure important initiatives actually move forward

Your Profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field with a strong academic track record
• First experience in strategy, top tier consulting, venture capital, startups, or another high-performance environment
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure complex and ambiguous problems
• High agency and a strong sense of ownership: you don't wait for someone to tell you what to do next
• Comfortable taking responsibility beyond the typical scope of an internship
• Able to move between strategic thinking and hands-on execution
• Fast learner who can quickly understand new topics and make sound judgments with limited information
• Clear communicator who is comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders
• Fluent German and English
