Aufgaben
Are you looking for an exciting internship with broad exposure to international business, governance and finance topics?
Join our team and support the global markets of Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars.
Unlike many internships that focus on a single function, this role offers exposure to a wide range of management topics across an international organisation. You will work closely with market CFOs (Chief Financial Officer) and collaborate with Corporate Audit, Legal, IT and other central functions, gaining unique insights into how a global company is governed and managed.
You will contribute to governance, compliance and digitalisation initiatives, support the implementation of corporate policies, and learn how risks are identified, mitigated and monitored across international markets.
Our team helps ensure the consistent implementation of corporate requirements worldwide. We analyse audit findings, derive improvements and share best practices throughout the global Sales Controlling network.
As regulatory requirements, business priorities and market conditions continuously evolve, our work is dynamic and diverse. We are therefore looking for someone who is well organised, curious, adaptable and eager to take ownership.
If you enjoy working in an international environment, driving topics forward and taking responsibility from day one, we look forward to receiving your application.
These challenges await you:
- Analyse corporate audit reports, market processes and governance topics to derive actionable learnings and practical risk prevention recommendations for the global Sales Controlling organisation
- Participate in cross-functional knowledge-sharing formats, such as policy round tables, and connect with business partners in Sales, IT, Corporate Audit, Internal Control and Legal to identify relevant updates for CFOs in the markets
- Support, manage or lead projects in Finance Governance, Knowledge Management, Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence, including the development of AI-based solutions and agents
- Maintain and further develop communication and knowledge platforms, including the FC (Financial Controller) Support website, the FC & CFO Support News, The Revenue Controlling Online Handbook and ad hoc updates for international markets
- Provide practical support to CFOs and the Sales Controlling organisation on governance, compliance, audit, data protection and internal control topic
- Support the revision / adaption and implementation of key governance policies, such as the Used Cars Policy, in close collaboration with Sales, Legal and relevant business partners
- Support the onboarding of new CFOs and maintain transparency on international CFO changes, key market contacts and relevant governance responsibilities
- Analyse and maintain application, data and governance-related topics, including compliance requirements, responsibilities, documentation and follow-up tracking
The activity can begin from January 2027.
