Description provided by Merantix Capital
Modern logistics and manufacturing rely on the smooth flow of goods, trucks, assets, and information yet the there remains one last major blind spots in the supply chain that we are solving. Despite its strategic importance, processes are still largely manual, reactive, and difficult to optimize.
We are building an AI-native platform that brings real-time intelligence, transparency, and automation to operations. By combining computer vision, sensor data, and machine learning, we aim to create a unified system that understands what is happening at any moment and supports and automates key operational decisions.
Our mission is to transform low-visibility operational bottlenecks into predictable, data-driven, and highly efficient environments.
As a Foudners Associate Intern, you will play a central role in defining the technology, shaping the product, and creating a new category in logistics AI.
Your role
You'll sit directly next to the founders and will be fully involved in the work that actually moves the company forward: understanding who has the problem we solve, convincing them we're the right team to solve it, and learning fast enough to stay ahead of what the market is telling us.
On any given week that might mean a customer discovery call, a competitive teardown, or building an automation that eliminates a manual process we've been tolerating. What ties it together: everything you touch should make us sharper, faster, or better for the customers and partners that matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Own projects end-to-end from research and structuring to execution and follow-through
- Help identify and prioritize target customer segments across logistics and manufacturing
- Run outbound experiments: test messaging hypotheses, iterate on sequences, track what converts
- Talk to operators, ops leads, and decision-makers and synthesize what you learn into crisp insights
- Research customer pain points and competitive alternatives to sharpen product positioning
- Identify process gaps and build lightweight systems to close them
Your profile
You are a good fit for this, if you:
- think fast and move faster
- can communicate with precision written and verbal, in German and English
- are motivated by what matters most to the company, not just what's interesting to you
- are genuinely excited about AI and know how to use it to get 10x more done
- have a good product instinct and have the ability to translate operational pain points into product features
- Experience in logistics, manufacturing, robotics, consulting, or industrial automation
If you’ll join us as founders associate, you’ll get:
- a front-row seat at an early-stage deep tech company building infrastructure that will change how multi-national companies operate
- be in every strategic conversation that matters
- real ownership with a strong and guaranteed learning curve
- access to the AI Campus Berlin as well as the Merantix ecosystem
- a potential path to a full-time role if we're a strong fit
We are an equal-opportunity employer and value diversity. We consider all applications equally regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, or gender identity. We strongly encourage individuals from groups traditionally underrepresented in tech to apply, and we can help with immigration.
