Join the Maintenance and Logistics team in Munich and support production and logistics engineers in their day-to-day operations and on projects. Optimize warehousing, transportation, and shipping processes on the shop floor, work with key performance indicators, Lean principles, and continuous improvement, and actively help develop digital shop floor tools.
Tasks
Support for the Production and Logistics Engineers of Maintenance Logistics in MUC in the following areas:
- Daily routine and non‑routine tasks
- Gaining practical skills with a focus on managing and optimizing warehouse, transportation, and shipping processes on the shop floor
- Involvement in the planning, preparation, and implementation of projects and procurement activities
- Preparation, analysis, and visualization of shopfloor and logistics KPIs
- Execution of KVP, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives, including implementation and tracking of improvement measures
- Use and further development of digital shopfloor tools
- Participation in meetings and workshops

Requirements
- At the time of the internship, you are at least in your 3rd semester of studies
- Enrollment for the entire duration of the internship (a current certificate of enrollment and written proof of a mandatory internship must be included) or a internship between the bachelor’s and master’s studies (gap year)
- Interest in production, maintenance, and logistics processes in a shopfloor environment
- Analytical thinking skills and experience in preparing and visualizing key performance indicators
- Applying existing skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, under professional guidance
- Knowledge of digital shopfloor tools is an advantage
- Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
- Very good German language skills; English skills are an advantage
