To support our well established and still expanding team, we are looking for curious and driven final year Master students who would like to join us as interns for 3-6 months. Internship start will be April 2027. Our internships start on a quarterly basis and offer the chance to gain hands-on experience and valuable exposure to high-level financial advisory work, providing you as intern with the opportunity to develop key skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

As part of the team, you will be equipped with a structured pre- and onboarding as well as development opportunities throughout the course of your internship – including for example our induction day, the mentoring program, intern pitch competition and networking events.

  • Carrying out financial analyses and assisting with valuations, identifying a buyer universe, participating in the due diligence and closing processes
  • Involvement in pitch presentation preparation
  • Supporting senior bankers with business development and meeting preparation

What else you can look forward to:

  • Unrivalled deal flow and the corresponding extensive learning opportunities ranging from marketing efforts and origination to live projects and execution
  • A true ‘mid-cap approach’, which means working in small deal teams within one or two sector groups, being able to grab different business models and experience a variety of different deal situations
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and flat hierarchies, which will mean significant team exposure to seasoned bankers and the opportunity to make valuable contributions
  • A steep learning curve in corporate finance, valuation and strategic thinking
  • Training the Street, access to our Lincoln Learning Platform and our own Lincoln AI tool as development support

Following the successful completion of the internship, select candidates will receive offers to join as full time Analysts.

Qualifications:

  • An exceptional, well rounded academic background, ideally in your final year of studies, with an openness to explore the opportunity of transitioning into a full-time Analyst role following the internship
  • A genuine curiosity for business models and sectors, coupled with a good understanding of corporate strategy and themes, related to company growth and development
  • Previous internships in Corporate Finance related fields that have nurtured your interest in accounting, Finance, M&A, and valuation which you know would like to develop further
  • Great analytical skills and attention to detail, along with a willingness to develop and learn.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with a commitment to personal growth, whether through academic excellence, creative pursuits, or personal projects.
  • Adaptability, dependability, and the ability to manage a dynamic workload
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to collaborate well with others, and a personally engaging manner
  • An array of international experiences and perspectives
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills, additional European Languages are a plus
