Working Student - Controlling (m/f/d)

Would you like to gain practical experience in the field of Controlling?

KWS Berlin GmbH is looking for a motivated Working Student - Controlling (m/f/d) for the Global Business Operations in Berlin, to support us with process improvements and automation solutions related to the activities for closing, forecasting and planning in the Controlling function. This position is offered on a fixed-term contract of one year, with a working time of up to 20 hours per week (During official semester breaks, working hours may be increased to up to 38 hours per week, subject to confirmation by the university and compliance with applicable regulations).

Your tasks:

• Supporting the transactional activities for our financial closing process
• Supporting transactional activities for forecasting and planning such as functional costs and investments
• Gathering knowledge about expert roles within the team for a core process and/or systems
• Possibly further development of existing Excel and BI tools

Your profile:

• You are currently enrolled at a university and can provide proof of valid matriculation for the entire duration of the employment.
• Understanding processes in controlling and accounting
• Good knowledge of MS Excel; SAP experience would be a plus
• Strong analytical skills and high affinity for IT
• Spoken and written English fluency; German knowledge would be a plus
• Result-oriented mindset and independent working style accompanied by own initiative
• Good communication skills, ability to cooperate in an international team
