Description provided by Inverto | A BCG Company

Inverto is one of the leading procurement and supply chain management consultancies in the world. Backed by the power of BCG, we’ve grown from a successful European consultancy into a global company with a distinct offering. Our Business Services Teams play a critical role in enabling our business, driving continuous improvement, and shaping how we scale. Here, you can use your expertise to make a meaningful impact from within, taking on responsibility from day one and seeing the difference your work makes. As we continue to grow, so will your opportunities, in an environment that supports your development and empowers you to grow as we grow. There’s never been a better time to join Inverto and be part of what comes next. Are you in?

We are looking to fill this position from November 2026 onwards.

How You'll Impact.

Structured data management. You prepare, clean and validate data from various sources, ensuring consistency and reliability as a basis for reporting and analysis. You explore how AI tools such as Claude can speed up and standardize parts of this workflow, e.g. first-pass data structuring, consistency checks, and documentation.

Driving data transparency & dashboard optimization. As a working student in Business Operations, you support the development, set up, and continuous improvement of structured dashboards (e.g. in Claude or Power BI), transforming complex data into clear, high-quality, and user-friendly visualizations that enable data-driven decision-making across stakeholders.

Supporting AI adoption in Business Operations. You help pilot practical use cases for Claude in reporting, data summarization and documentation, and support the build-out of reusable prompts and workflows the wider team can adopt. You bring a hands-on, experimental mindset to how AI can remove manual work from our reporting cycle.

Enabling business insights globally. You will contribute to the preparation of reports and analyses, helping to identify patterns, trends, and improvement opportunities across business operations in America, Europe and Asia.

Proactive solution development. You bring your own ideas to improve existing dashboards, processes and data structures - including where GenAI tools can further automate manual steps - and support implementation of creative, data-driven solutions.

What You'll Bring.

You are an advanced and motivated student from a data science, business, engineering, or related field of study with a strong academic performance and ideally with already gained practical experience during your studies.

You have a structured and detail-oriented working style and enjoy working with complex data while being results driven, proactive, curious, and able to develop your own ideas and solutions. Proficiency in Power BI and Excel is a great add on.

Curiosity for AI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) and interest in applying them to real business problems (a hands-on/experimental mindset) is a plus.

You thrive in an international team environment, remain grounded, treat others with fairness, and bring authenticity to every interaction.

You have strong communication skills in English (proficiency in German is a plus).

What We'll Offer.

  • Tailored training programs and personalized coaching to help you grow and thrive
  • Access to mental coaching and Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) resources
  • A rewarding Employee Referral Program to grow our team with your help
  • Seasonal parties, team events, and get-togethers to foster collaboration and celebrate success
