👋 ABOUT HYRISE

Hyrise is a mission-driven company with a clear purpose: we believe everybody should be empowered to pursue a career they love, and we’re working hard to make it happen 😍

As of today, we recruit and train salespeople for top tech companies.

  • We give people access to new careers, by recruiting, preparing, and placing people in tech sales roles at top tech companies - no matter their background.

  • We help people perform better at their jobs, through intensive sales training courses, 1:1 coaching, and a broad collection of content.

We are 100% remote and funded by reputable business angels. Our latest big step was our appearance on the startup show “Die Höhle der Löwen” 🦁.

Tasks

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a working student to join Academy Operations and work directly with our Senior Operations Manager. You will be the human layer in an automated operation: we use Claude, Airtable, Demodesk, and Notion to handle most of our data and reporting, so your focus is where it matters most — keeping trainers supported, learners on track, and quality consistently high.

Learning Opportunities

  • Apply a user-centric approach in the real world in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment.

  • Develop critical thinking, project management skills, and the ability to evaluate and make adjustments to improve project results.

  • Learn to work in a remote, objective-oriented environment.

  • Develop tactical customer-centric skills with on-the-job training.

  • Take our "intro to tech sales course" for free.

Tasks

  • Trainer relationships: serving as the first point of contact, answering questions and resolving issues

  • Learner experience: handling inquiries, tracking progress, and flagging anything that needs attention

  • Quality control: reviewing setcards, kickoff decks, and management sync reports before they go out

  • New Trainer onboarding

  • Co-delivering selected trainings once you have completed your ramp-up

Requirements

IS THIS YOU?

  • Currently a student. Business, International Relations, Occupational Therapy, and Education are natural fits, but we don't care what you studied as long as you're interested in learning.

  • Hungry to learn and curious to grow. We're looking for attitude. If you get up in the morning feeling positive and excited to face new challenges and where they might take you, we want you on our team.

  • Passionate about people. We're in this to change people's lives. We want people that are genuinely interested in people and their stories.

  • Sense of ownership. As a working student, we will offer extensive support and guidance, but we're looking for someone who is ready to own their mission. Someone who comfortable in building their own systems, figure things out independently, and bring questions that move things forward

  • Excellent communication skills: You can communicate clearly and professionally in both English and German

  • Organisational accuracy is your mantra. Our Learner Success team needs to excel in organization and accuracy

  • Available for min. 12 months, preferably more.

  • Are genuinely fluent with AI tools. You use Claude, ChatGPT, or similar daily and have a clear sense of what makes a workflow effective

  • Are comfortable working across tools such as Notion, Airtable, and Slack, and curious about how AI is reshaping operations

  • Maintain a calm, constructive tone when situations become difficult

  • Approach operations as a craft you want to develop, not as a temporary role

Benefits

PERKS

  • Take our course for free. You will have access to all course material to learn the art of tech sales.

  • Work from anywhere. Our company is fully remote and you can work from any location.

  • Focused on objectives. We don't care how many hours you put in or when. We will agree on a set of objectives to evaluate performance.

  • Mentorship. We place great emphasis on the development of our team members - also for interns and working students. You will be part of our team, and that means you can expect not only mentoring, but also support for personal development.
