Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Social Media Intern at heyCoach!. The intern will assist in planning, creating, and publishing social media content across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok to increase engagement and brand awareness. Day-to-day tasks may include drafting posts, creating simple graphics or short videos, scheduling content using social media management tools, and monitoring comments and messages. The intern will also help track performance metrics, conduct basic audience and competitor research, and suggest new content ideas that align with heyCoach!’s mission of personal and professional growth. Collaboration with marketing and content teams, as well as participation in virtual meetings, will be a regular part of this internship.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) and an understanding of current social media trends and best practices.
- Basic content creation skills, including writing captions, creating simple visuals or short videos, and adapting messaging to different audiences.
- Interest in digital marketing, community engagement, and brand storytelling, with a willingness to learn analytics and performance tracking tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow brand guidelines consistently.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Media, Psychology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Genuine interest in personal development, coaching, or mental well-being, and alignment with heyCoach!’s mission.
- Experience with basic design tools (e.g., Canva) or social media scheduling tools is a plus.
