Das Globalvorhaben (GV) neuen Typs „Transforming Agricultural Supply Chains“ (TASC) hat zum Ziel, globale Agrarlieferketten nachhaltig, fair und inklusiv zu gestalten und zur Ausgestaltung globaler, strategischer Partnerschaften beizutragen. Im Auftrag des Bundesministeriums für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) und im Rahmen der Sonderinitiative „Transformation der Agrar- und Ernährungssysteme (AGER)“ setzt das Neuvorhaben Maßnahmen für mehr Nachhaltigkeit in ausgewählten Agrarlieferketten wie Kaffee, Kakao, Palmöl, aber auch weiteren Agrarrohstoffen um. Als Teil der „Sustainable Agricultural Supply Chains Initiative“ (SASI) arbeitet TASC in einem großen Kooperationsnetzwerk eng mit internationalen Organisationen, Initiativen und multinationalen Unternehmen zusammen. Aktivitäten bauen auf erfolgreichen Ansätzen der SASI auf und werden integriert mit bereits bestehenden Lieferkettenvorhaben umgesetzt.
