Das Ziel ist, die Fähigkeiten der Partnerländer zu stärken und sowohl ihre Bürger*innen als auch die kritische zivile Infrastruktur wirksam vor Cyberangriffen zu schützen. Dies geschieht unter anderem durch Weiterbildungen und Trainings, die Förderung des Austauschs zwischen Diplomat*innen und Fachexpert*innen sowie den Aufbau einheitlicher Standards und Institutionen.
Gesucht wird eine Praktikantin oder ein Praktikant für die Umsetzung der beiden Regionalkomponenten ECOWAS und MENA. Die ECOWAS-Komponente unterstützt die ECOWAS Kommission und ihre Mitgliedstaaten im Ausbau regionaler Kapazitäten im Bereich Cybersicherheit und Cyber Diplomatie durch Trainings, Arbeitsgruppen und dem Aufbau regionaler Strukturen. In der von der EU-Kommission kofinanzierten MENA-Komponente werden sowohl auf nationaler als auch regionaler Ebene Initiativen zur Stärkung der Cybersicherheits-Governance durchgeführt.
