Description provided by Fidelity International
Please note that this is an 11th month part time (20h/week) Working Student role from January 2027 till November 2027.
Who we are
We’ve been helping clients plan and invest for their futures for over 50 years. From more than 25 locations around the world, we provide investment services and retirement expertise to everyone from central banks to private individuals. We’re known for acting with integrity and thinking for the long-term. And across our organisation, we foster a welcoming, caring and inclusive culture where people feel respected, trusted and able to be themselves.
About your team
You’ll join a small, hands-on team at FIL Fondsbank (FFB), part of the Fidelity group. We work closely with business partners and global risk colleagues, and our senior management. We support each other across topics and functions, especially when unexpected challenges come up. While your role has a clear focus, you’ll also gain insight into the broader risk landscape of the bank.
About your role
You’ll help us manage risk by supporting our day-to-day tasks like analysing data, reviewing incidents, and tracking external developments. You’ll get exposure to European and German banking regulation and see how it’s applied in practice at FIL Fondsbank.
How you’ll be supported
We don’t expect you to know everything from day one. You’ll start with a short induction to get familiar with risk management and our business. From there, you’ll learn on the job, work with experienced colleagues, and get regular feedback. You’ll also have chances to connect with others through networking and learning events.
The difference you’ll make:
Your work will help us spot and manage risks, support decision-making, and protect our clients. Whether you’re analysing data or helping with incident reviews, your input will matter. We value fresh ideas and practical thinking—your initiative will help us stay ahead. One of our current team members actually started in this exact role as a working student—so we know how valuable and impactful this experience can be.
About you
You’re curious, adaptable, and enjoy working in teams—both locally and internationally. You’re detail-oriented, analytical, and able to communicate clearly. If you’re studying or recently graduated and bring:
- a commercial mindset and strong organisational skills,
- interest in financial services and risk management,
- fluency in English and German,
- a high level of integrity,
… we’d love to hear from you!
