As a Working Student – Onboarding & Automation, you'll gain hands-on experience in how Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) are integrated, operated, and optimized across Europe. You’ll work across project management, live operations, and tooling—making a real impact from day one.

  • Location: Munich, Germany (office-first setup)
  • Employment Type: Working Student (15-20h/week)
  • Salary Range: Bachelor Students €18 per hour; Master Students €21 per hour
  • Language Requirement: Fluent in English (C1+) and at least business proficiency in German (B2+)
  • Working Mode: Office first set up

Your Responsibilities

You’ll support our growing portfolio of energy storage assets and help scale the systems behind them. Expect a mix of hands-on operational work, coordination tasks, and tech-driven problem-solving.

What you will do:

  • Support project management during asset onboarding: Coordinate timelines, manage documentation, and align internal and external stakeholders throughout the go-live process; including clients, DSOs, and external providers.
  • Hand on experience in regulatory and administrative onboarding processes: Handle submissions and follow-up for processes such as prequalification for ancillary services, tax exemption registration, and grid integration requirements on behalf of the assets in our portfolio.
  • Drive automation (incl. designing AI workflows) and tool improvements: Help identify repetitive manual tasks and automate them using AI agents, low-code tools, scripts, or APIs. Collaborate with tech and product teams to improve the integration of Ops tools into our broader system landscape
  • Contribute to operational reporting and KPI initiatives: Support the development of dashboards, trackers, and metrics that help the Operations team monitor portfolio performance and identify improvement areas.

Your Profile

We’re looking for someone curious, reliable, and eager to learn—someone who thrives on structure but also likes to roll up their sleeves and get things done.

What we are looking for:

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s (3. semester or higher) or Master’s program (e.g. Engineering, Project Management, Industrial Engineering/TUM BWL, Information Systems, or related)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • First experience in project and/or process management
  • First experience with process automation, scripting (e.g. Python), or low-code/no-code tools (e.g. Make, Zapier, Notion, Airtable) is a strong plus
  • Interest in renewable energy, tech systems, and operational excellence
  • Fluent in English (C1+) and business proficiency in German (B2+)
